Eligibility for Holy Trinity - St John the Evangelist CYO
Athletes must be a registered member of either Holy Trinity Parish or St. John the Evangelist Parish and enrolled in PREP unless they attend Holy Trinity School.
Any student attending Holy Trinity School is eligible to participate regardless of their Religion.
Registration Fee
The Registration fee is $65-00 per runner.
Age Divisions:
Sub-Novice Athletes who are born between January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2016.
Novice Born in 2014 or 2015
Minor Born in 2012 or 2013
Cadet Born in 2010 or 2011, or on or after September 1, 2008 and not yet graduated from 8th grade
Official Distances:
Sub-Novices – 2,000 meters (2K) ~ approximately 1.25 miles
Novices – 3,000 meters (3K) ~ approximately 1.86 miles -- outside of the woods
Minors – 3,000 meters (3K) ~ approximately 1.86 miles -- includes a loop in the woods
Cadets – 4,000 meters (4K) ~ approximately 2.48 miles
Meets:
Meets are held on Sundays at Belmont Plateau in West Fairmont Park. Sub novice Girls start at 1:00 PM with a rolling time schedule. First meet is September 17 and run for 6 weeks with the Archdiocese Meet (7th week) on October 29th Sub novice Girls start at 1:00 PM with a rolling time schedule for the start of the other races.
